Why do you need to study a foreign language?
An old Hungarian proverb says : „As many language you know as many times you are a human being”
There are several reasons why one should study a foreign language.
I will tell you some from my own personal experience as a multilingual person and teacher who has transmitted her knowledge to many students:
- gives you a huge personal and professional satisfaction and improves the working prospectives
- helps to discover other cultures and helps to be better acquainted with the world
- it is a good work out for your brain and preserves the mental agility
- gives more satisfaction a trip abroad if you can ask at least for a coffee in the local language
- opens new opportunities in the business world where internalization of the companies has recently become a „must” to be followed
- it is beneficial socializing with other people different from us, it enriches and helps us grow
And the list can continue… I don’t think that there is a reason against studying a foreign languge.

About my teaching methods/style
The first thing to know when planning a tailored lesson is which goal should be achieved ( exam, tests, certifications, interviews, working abroad etc).
I plan a lesson based on these criteria and after I have previously tested the language skills of the student( except the beginners). I choose if the student needs to improve the writing, reading or the speaking proficiency.
It is very important to know well its own students, in order to identify their needs and to find the right approach, outlining the best teaching style for everyone.
It is essential to involve the student ( mentally and fisically) when teaching, no matter what subject, where every method must be pragmatic and learning should happen in an intuitive manner.

Tünde’s teaching methods
Role Playing– for a more involving teaching, to speak and to use the language as much as possible
Learning by doing– for a more dynamic teaching
Story telling– for an interactive teaching where new, freshly studied words are used by storytelling and the students are not anymore passive listeners
Listening to music– because music helps to memorize new words and helps to remember them easily
